InnerVoice receives UKRI funding for addiction recovery programme

InnerVoice Funding Partnership

We’re excited to announce that InnerVoice, our VR-based programme for addiction recovery, has received funding from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) through the Accelerated Knowledge Transfer scheme.

About InnerVoice

InnerVoice takes a novel approach to supporting people recovering from addiction. Using immersive VR combined with Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) techniques and an AI-powered dialogue companion, it provides a safe, private space for people to practise coping strategies and build confidence.

Partners

We’re working closely with Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust for clinical research, and West Northamptonshire Council’s Inspire service as an early adopter and community engagement partner. The Bridge, an addiction recovery charity, provides vital lived experience input throughout the process.

We’ll share updates as the programme progresses. If you work in addiction services and would like to learn more, please contact us.
